RDC Cloud 1.1.0 — Databases, backups, and firewall policies

Run Redis and PostgreSQL databases, import data, schedule PostgreSQL backups, and control resource access.

Run Redis databases in RDC Cloud

Memory Database adds Redis to your RDC Cloud projects. Create a database, find its connection information, and manage its lifecycle alongside your application resources.

The data import workflow helps you bring existing Redis data into a database. Review the supported import format and requirements before starting.

Get started with Memory Database or read the import guide.

Manage PostgreSQL databases from Console

Relational Database adds PostgreSQL management to RDC Cloud Console. Create a database in your project, review its connection details, and manage database accounts from the resource page.

You can also import existing data through the database's data import screen.

Get started with PostgreSQL or review data import requirements.

Create and schedule PostgreSQL backups

The Backups page brings backup creation and history to PostgreSQL resources where backups are available.

Request a manual backup or set up a daily or weekly schedule with your preferred time zone. Review each attempt's status and completion details from the same page.

This release covers backup creation and scheduling. Restore and backup downloads are not yet available.

Read the PostgreSQL backup guide.

Control resource access with firewall policies

Firewall policies let you define allowed IP addresses and CIDR ranges for supported container and database resources in Console.

Open a resource's Firewall policy settings to review and update its allowed clients. Include your own public IP address before enabling a policy so you can continue connecting.

Read about container firewall policies.
