RDC Cloud Relational Database provides PostgreSQL instances within your project. Choose a region, version, and plan, then connect applications through the private project network or an optional external TLS endpoint.
Connections and accounts
Private connections require an application on the same server and project network. External connections use a managed hostname and require TLS with SNI. Keep the database private when external access is unnecessary.
The initial administrator is intended for database administration. Create application accounts for ordinary workloads and retrieve their connection details from the Console.

For existing data, see Import from PostgreSQL. Manual backups are available when enabled for the environment. The current Console does not provide scheduled backups, point-in-time recovery, or a restore action.
