Resource Map
Explore the containers and databases in your project together.
Resource Map
Select a project in Console, then open Resource Map from the resource menu or Quick access.
The map flows left to right: Project → Region → Product group. Each region has separate Container Engine, Relational Database, and Memory Database groups. A group shows its resource count and a list of resource names with colored status labels. Groups with no matching loaded resources are hidden. The lines show membership; they do not represent network connections between applications and databases.
Explore resources
- Drag the background to move around. Use the zoom controls or Fit to view to adjust the map.
- Choose List for a compact alternative that works with keyboard navigation.
- Search by resource name across the selected project. Choose a product or resource status to narrow the view.
- Select a resource name to go directly to its detail screen. The name opens resource details; selecting the group background does not navigate. Details are unavailable while a resource is being provisioned.
Resource status describes the resource lifecycle. Active does not confirm that an application is running or healthy. Open the resource's details for its runtime status and current operations.
Security summaries
With Security Insights read permission, each resource also shows a small security badge. Select it to open Security Insights filtered to that resource. Select View all resources there to return to the project-wide findings.
The attention count is the number of open security checks, not individual CVEs. Checks passed applies to the available, current checks only; it does not guarantee that a resource is free of vulnerabilities. Pending, outdated, unavailable and missing assessments are shown separately. A badge can retain known open checks while the assessment is incomplete; open the findings for details.
Security summaries load without downloading package-level CVE details. Open the finding and expand Package occurrences to load those details.
Security summaries are independent of resource lifecycle status. If security data cannot be loaded, resource navigation stays available. Refresh retries the security read along with the displayed product lists.
Loading and refreshing
A loading indicator reserves the map area while the first resources load and the map is positioned. Available resources then fade into view.
Each product initially loads up to 25 resources. The counter shows the displayed and loaded counts alongside the total matching the search for the displayed products. Select Load more to request up to 25 additional resources per displayed product. Status filters apply to the resources already loaded; search applies to all resource names.
Select Refresh to reload the displayed products. The map does not continuously refresh in the background. If a product cannot be loaded, select Retry beside its error message. Other available products remain usable.
Access
The map displays only products for which you have resource read permission in the selected project. Changing projects clears the previous map and filters. If expected resources are missing, check the selected project, clear your filters, load remaining results, and ask your workspace administrator to review your access.
