Notifications

Follow resource provisioning from anywhere in RDC Cloud Console.

The Notifications bell to the left of the more menu shows provisioning progress for new Container Engine, Memory Database, and Relational Database resources you create.

An item appears after your creation request is accepted. It stays in the panel as provisioning progresses, completes, fails, or is cancelled. You can navigate to another Console page or reload without losing the item.

Check progress

Select Notifications to open the panel. A spinning indicator means that one or more operations are still in progress. The badge counts unread notifications separately: reading an item does not stop provisioning.

Progress updates automatically while the panel is visible. Reopen the panel or refresh it to check the latest status.

Select a resource name to open its overview. Use Older notifications to move to the next page of up to 20 items and Previous page to go back. Notifications are personal to the requester and only show resources they can still access. Deleted resources are excluded.

Read notifications

Opening the panel does not mark items as read. Use Mark as read on an item or Mark all as read in the panel header.

If you read an item while it is provisioning, the final result becomes unread again so you can see what happened. Routine progress updates do not repeatedly mark the item unread.

Handle errors

If notifications cannot refresh, the panel keeps its last observation and offers Retry. This reloads notifications; it does not restart resource provisioning.

For a failed provisioning operation, open the resource to inspect its status. Contact support with the resource ID if you need help. Notifications do not automatically retry failed resource operations.

The panel currently covers new provisioning requests. Earlier resource creations, product announcements, capacity alerts, and email delivery are not included.
