Billing and automatic recharge

Choose your display currency and manage KG Inicis card payments and automatic credit recharge in South Korea.

For credit delivery, exchanges, refunds, and cancellation terms, see the Credit delivery and cancellation policy. You can also select Payments and refunds in Payment method and automatic recharge to open the policy in a new tab.

Access payment settings

Open Workspace Settings → Billing & Credits, then select a billing account. Workspace Billing Admin, General Admin and General Owner can register or remove a card and configure automatic recharge. These actions require signing in to Console; personal access tokens cannot manage cards.

The saved card and automatic recharge settings belong to the billing account. Recharge continues if the owner who configured it leaves the workspace or changes roles. Only members with the required workspace billing permissions can change these settings. Closing the billing account stops new automatic charges; a charge already submitted can still complete and be recorded.

Korean payments require a KRW billing account. USD card payments are not yet supported. Choosing KRW or USD as your display currency does not enable payments for an unsupported billing country or account. If Console shows a test banner, payments use a test channel and do not add spendable credit.

Create a billing account

In Workspace Settings → Billing & Credits, select Create billing account to open the panel on the right. Enter an account name, choose KRW or USD, then submit. Payment currency cannot be changed after creation.

The panel closes and the account list refreshes after success. If creation fails, your name and currency remain available to retry. Creating an account does not register a payment card or link a project automatically; manage these separately.

Account currency and displayed prices

Select KRW — Korean won or USD — US dollar when creating a billing account. Payment currency cannot be changed after creation. Existing accounts remain USD. To use Korean payments, create a KRW account and link your project to it. Existing credit stays with the original account; linking does not transfer balances.

Change your display currency

Open the profile menu → Personal settings. Under Display currency, select Account currency, KRW ₩, or USD $. Changes apply immediately; there is no separate save button.

Account currency uses each billing account's payment currency; resource prices use the project's linked account, with USD when no account is linked. Your preference is saved for your signed-in user in this browser. Switching display does not change payment currency or the value of your credits. Plan prices, balances, credit history and usage deductions follow this preference. Payment history always shows the actual payment currency and amount charged.

Korean credits have a fixed selling price of KRW 1,200 per USD credit. A KRW 12,000 live payment grants USD 10. This is our selling price, not a live market exchange rate. Display values are rounded; usage deductions can show fractions of a won for precision.

Register a card

In Payment method and automatic recharge, select Add a credit card. Confirm your full name, email and phone number, agree to save the card, then select Continue to KG Inicis. Card information is entered with KG Inicis. On mobile, you may leave Console temporarily and return after registration.

Once registration is complete, Console shows the saved card and a success notification. Registering a card does not charge it or enable automatic recharge. KG Inicis may label registration as monthly recurring billing; RDC Cloud charges according to your balance threshold and monthly limit, not a monthly subscription.

Enter card details with KG Inicis. Console displays the last four digits when available; otherwise, it shows Saved credit card. Each billing account can have one saved card.

If saving fails after the PG window completes, select Retry saving card. Retrying uses the same registration result. Attempts expire after 30 minutes; choose Start registration again if the attempt has expired. Closing or cancelling the PG window does not save a card.

Configure automatic recharge

Automatic recharge is available for South Korea (KRW) billing accounts. The payment settings show your estimated balance in KRW. Charges are made in KRW, and successful payments add credits at the fixed selling price described above.

Set these fields:

  • Recharge when the estimated balance is below (KRW): the balance threshold.
  • Amount per recharge (KRW): a fixed charge of KRW 1,000–1,000,000, greater than the threshold.
  • Monthly charge limit (KRW): at least one recharge and no more than KRW 10,000,000. Calendar months follow Asia/Seoul time.

Select Enable automatic recharge, agree to the displayed automatic charge terms, and select Save settings. Charges are checked in the background. A verified successful live payment adds credit to the billing account once.

If payment activation is unavailable for an eligible billing account, contact support.

Payment history and failures

Recent payment attempts shows the latest 20 orders, their original payment currency and amount, USD credit equivalent, credit price, status and payment ID. The credit-equivalent column describes the order; failed, pending and test payments do not issue credit. Select Refresh to retrieve current results. This section does not auto-refresh.

A failed payment pauses recharge. Correct the card or payment settings before explicitly enabling it again. Needs review means the result is uncertain or did not match the order. Further charges are blocked; contact support with the payment ID. Delayed successful results continue to be checked so the same payment is not charged twice.

Disable recharge or remove a card

Clear Enable automatic recharge and select Save settings to stop future charges. A charge already submitted can still complete. Select Remove card to disable recharge and revoke the saved payment token. Removal is blocked while a payment is unresolved. If removal fails, refresh and retry; the card remains unavailable for new charges while revocation is pending.

Disabling recharge or removing a card does not cancel completed payments, refund existing credit, or stop resource usage. Provisioned resources can continue consuming credit. See the cancellation and refund policy for payment issues and support requests.

Console does not currently offer a self-service payment cancellation or refund action. Foreign-country billing and monthly prepaid subscriptions are not available in this release.

Low-credit alerts

Current workspace owners receive an email when a billing account's remaining credits reach 30%, 15%, 10%, or run out. Alerts apply only to active billing accounts with at least one running resource in a linked project. Accounts without running resources do not receive these alerts.

The percentage compares remaining usable credit with the total credit granted to that account that has not expired. Expired credits and their usage are excluded. The account is evaluated as a whole, including all linked projects. The email shows the remaining credit in the account's currency and links to its billing page.

After the warning email is accepted for delivery, the same warning appears in Console Notifications for its recipient. Select it to open the billing account. You must still have permission to view that account's billing information. Marking the notification as read does not change your balance or recharge settings.

Each warning level is sent once per credit cycle. If the balance passes several levels between checks, only the most severe current warning is sent. Additional credit starts a new cycle; the percentage still uses all unexpired credits. A warning may no longer be sent if you recharge or stop all resources before it is delivered.

An exhaustion email reports the credit balance. These alerts do not automatically suspend the billing account or stop its resources. Review your balance and recharge settings in Billing & Credits.
