RDC Cloud 1.4.0 — Secret reminders and live runtime logs

Schedule secret reminders, control Envault download access, follow live container logs, and receive low-credit alerts.

Keep track of secrets that need attention

Set a reminder on an Envault secret and review upcoming reminders in the central Reminders list. Notifications help your team remember when a credential needs review or rotation.

Reminders are advisory: reaching the reminder date does not expire, rotate, or disable the secret.

Control access to Envault downloads

Use an environment's access settings to restrict secret downloads to trusted IP addresses or CIDR ranges. Give rules meaningful names so teammates can identify office networks and other approved locations.

The environment view now separates secret variables from access settings, making it easier to manage values and download restrictions independently.

Edit and organize secrets more easily

Rename Secret Groups and environments, see environment counts, and add new secrets as inline drafts. Follow Shared references to their source when you need to review or update a reused value.

Save multiple secret edits together with Save changes. Improvements to multiline values and JSON preserve their formatting when passed to applications.

Follow container logs as they arrive

Container runtime logs now support live updates and reconnection when the connection is interrupted. Inspect application output from Console while investigating startup and runtime problems, including containers that are restarting.

Read the Container Engine guide.

Receive low-credit alerts

Billing credit warnings are available by email and in Console notifications. Eligible billing accounts receive warnings as remaining credits reach the configured warning levels, helping account administrators review balances before credits run out.

Run larger containers

The de-xlarge Container Engine plan adds an option with 4 CPU cores and 8 GiB of memory. Review the available plan and current hourly price in Console before creating or resizing a container.

Keep CLI configuration outside your repository

The RDC CLI can associate a working directory with its selected configuration without adding configuration files to the repository. Command and setup guides now cover the Envault workflow alongside the Console experience.

Read the CLI command reference.

Find product updates in Console

A new What’s New panel brings release summaries into Console, with full articles in the Document Hub. Project home also includes a recommendation for an unused product to help you discover what to build next.
