RDC Cloud 1.7.0 — Linkport and clearer environment editing

Create short links with click reports in Linkport, review environment changes before saving, and add descriptions to Envault keys.

RDC Cloud 1.7.0 introduces Linkport and improves how you review and manage environment variables.

Open Linkport in your project to create a short URL for an HTTP or HTTPS destination. Give each link a name, optionally set an expiry, and enable or disable redirects as needed.

Open a link to see click trends and breakdowns by country, city, device and referrer. Reports include detected bot traffic, so click totals are not unique visitor counts.

Changes become active after synchronization. Wait for Pending sync to change to Active before sharing a new link.

Review environment changes before saving

Container Engine and Envault now use a more consistent editing layout. Review pending edits and deletions before saving instead of losing track of changes across separate controls.

Container environment values stay masked until you explicitly reveal them. Keys managed through Shared Secrets cannot be overwritten directly in the container editor; update them in Envault instead.

Manage environment variables.

Describe your Envault keys

Add a description of up to 50 characters beneath an Envault value to explain what the key is used for. Descriptions help distinguish similar keys without revealing their values.

Read the Envault guide.
