Work reports record work performed at a customer's site and link it to relevant equipment. Write a report yourself or ask AI to organize brief work notes into a report.
Start a report
- In the app, select Create work report in customer details.
- In the web console, select a customer in Work reports, then choose New report, or start a report from customer details.
Before writing, check that the customer and related equipment are correct.
Choose a work type
Select the type that best matches the work:
- Inspection
- Installation
- Repair
- Replacement
- Configuration change
- Maintenance
- Other
Use an AI draft
- Select Generate AI draft.
- Check the work type and date.
- Describe the work actually performed briefly and specifically.
- Select the registered equipment involved.
- In the app, select Organize with AI and continue. In the web console, select the AI draft generation action.
- Review the generated title and report body and make any necessary changes yourself.
- Save the final version.
Include symptoms, identified causes, actions taken and the final status in your notes for a clearer draft.
AI-generated content is a draft for reference. Always verify equipment names, IP addresses, work results and facts before sharing it with a customer.
Write manually
In the web console, select Write manually to enter the title and report body directly. If the title is blank, a title may be generated from the selected work type.
The following order makes records easier to find later:
- Visit or support request
- Equipment inspected and its condition
- Actions taken
- Results checked after the work
- Follow-up work or customer instructions
View and edit reports
- Customer details show recent reports and the full list for that customer.
- In the Work reports menu, find reports by title, work type or summary.
- In report details, edit the work type, title, work date, work description, final body and related equipment.
- Delete incorrectly registered reports from the details screen. Double-check the customer and work date first.
Handling sensitive information
Avoid including administrator passwords, Wi-Fi passwords, authentication tokens or personal identifiers that do not need to be shared with the customer. Keep required network settings separately in equipment records with managed access permissions.
